Sam White documented the early grime scene between 2004 and 2005, photographing iconic artists such as Wiley, Jammer, Kano, Stormin, Lethal Bizzle, Tinchy Stryder, Skepta, Ghetts and Marcus N.A.S.T.Y. As one of the very few - possibly the only - female photographers in the grime scene at the time, she captured the rise of a groundbreaking music genre that changed the landscape of British music... forever. White's photograph of Wiley in Jammer’s basement studio was featured on the cover of his high-profile 2017 album, Godfather.
